16.05.05 – Testimonials on the forum
Stationaute registered on March 2005 Moto : Burgman 400 hello, I actually got one airbag. By misfortune I also had a chance to test it live and it worked well, pretty well!! No after-effects at the back, or the neck. If you want a counsel, just buy you one of these.

17.05.05 – Physician report on accident of 15/05/05
Citation: Posted by The Dude Ben It is clearly not a bargain, … Would you be interested to know how was the test from Miss BB. I was with her shortly after her accident, she was still groggy, and here is how it happened... She will be able to add comments afterwards… In fact, she was hit on an access road to the ring road at the Porte de Saint-Ouen... a young driver turned into that access road of course without looking in its rearview mirror. In short, collision at the right rear of the car... the SV and its driver are out, the missBB is thrown away and the sv crashes into the guardrail. I took her to my father for a medical check and I must confess I was impressed by her state.... some bruising at her legs (her jeans have suffered…), aching muscles, some black and blues... but regarding her upper body… nothing! And yet her beautiful helmet is now rubbish... Then she told me how it happened… the jacket inflated almost instantly... at the neck, coccyx, back, thorax, a real cushion. I am now wearing that vest (as I already have two strengthened jackets), and I do not regret it... It is cheaper than the full jacket...

18.05.05 – continuation and ending of the accident of 15/05
I thank the miss for the summary of these events. I was indeed on the access road to the ring road at Porte de Saint Ouen (accelerating of course...) and an idiot just cut up without advising!! Consequence: a 1/4 second to realize that collision was imminent despite emergency braking and horning... and BOOOM! 1/4 seconds later I was lying on the road, wrapped up in my inflated airbag vest, realizing I was moving my limbs without problem. Phew. I was probably still under shock, because it seems (my boyfriend who came to see me was laughing out loud) that I couldn’t stop saying this was such an effective airbag -> cops, firemen, my witness (I thank her so much: she stayed 30 min with me)... In short, despite having collided with a car and hit the ground, I was really happy to have asked that airbag for my birthday 15 days before!! No pain in the neck or in the back, and all my bruises were gone quickly... Maximarmotte and I knew who is distributing these airbags: if you are interested, we will handle your orders! For your info, the vest costs about 350 euros.

24.07.06 – report on a fall on the Mas du clos circuit
Location of the fall: right-turn number 10 "the tower". Circumstances: after the turn n° 9 called "the bridge", I am on the left of the road, I prepare my right turn, at 70 km/h, I aim at my trajectory at regular speed, and shortly after I turn I accelerate too much, which cause the rear wheel to skate and to loose adherence, the motorcycle bends on the right side, the suspension is now under pressure, I reduce throttle, I gain adherence, decompression of suspension, I am thrown out at the left side of the motorcycle, I hear the trigger of my airbag vest as I am still in the air, I touch the ground on my belly and then slide and roll on my right side. When I stop sliding, i am lying on the back. The motorcycle is rolling in my direction, hits my left leg gauche and stops one meter behind me. Physical check up: All the parts protected by the airbag vest haven’t suffered any injuries despite the violence of the impact. I didn’t have any after-effect, except a burn on my hip caused by the rubbing of my trousers. By the way, a complete airbag suit would have certainly spared me that injury... Damages on the vest: I could observe that all parts used for triggering were in a perfect state. Synthetic parts are just like new (surprising given the fact that I rubbed it on the road when sliding). Only two simple tears on the airing mesh are now slightly altering the vest’s aesthetic, and a button is gone. I really wanted to check it a second time for a demonstration so I pull away the trigger and everything was in order. My impressions: at first hand, this airbag vest may look like any other gadget. This is what I thought when I arrived at the TRIUMPH National Days 2006. But after my accident, I was able to show all participants the use and eventually the need to wear such equipment. Without that vest, I would have harmed much more my physical integrity. Thanks to

09.08.06 - Message from one customer
Hello I received your phone message suggesting my order was not maybe not correct. I wanted to give you more details during my order online but I could not find a place in your form to do so. At the beginning of this year I bought you two vests (1 HP and 1 vest B). An idiot and faulty gave me the opportunity to test the quality of your vests : I do not regret this buy. This is the vest B which bore most of the damage and I am not sure I can use it again. The 3 accesories are therefore meant for the vest B. Best regards Francis ARTHAUD

Subject: Do you know the Airbag jacket   Mer 10 Jan 2007 - 21:01

Good evening

Yes I saw it !! on trial, and this is no gadget! I think that it is not compulsory for the moment, but they could impose it on one day!!!
This is part of our own safety! And I am sure that this will reduce the number of disabled people, or even deaths !!!

This is what I think!
